Many of the residents who choose our Assisted Living
services need some assistance with activities of daily living. For some it's
just the security and safety of the building. For others it's the three meals

assistance to help pay your monthly fee! Highland Inn personalized care includes elegant suites, large
bathrooms with special safety features, three meals served restaurant style, housekeeping
and linen service, all utilities except phone, recreational and social

One of the many ways to ensuring
healthy living AJ’s is just another way residents can reach and maintain their
optimum levels of function. This state-of-the-art fitness room is outfitted
with strength training and endurance equipment, which allows for an easy individualized
strengthening workout. Exercise and physical activity are important to health
and abilities of older people. Each individual has his or her own interests and
activity needs. AJ’s Fitness center offers a wellness program with a variety of
fitness activities. Each specifically designed exercise activity addresses the
areas that affect an older adult’s ability to be independent as possible. AJ’s
Fitness Centers programs focus on the four areas that are important for staying
health and independent: Endurance, Strength, Balance, and Flexibility. Come to

We consider all residents
residing on Garden Court as individuals with unique needs and interests.
Through an individual activity/ability based program we strive to effectively
meet these needs and interests. Programming is proactive with the intent of
anticipating problems and provide programming to intervene before escalation of
a problem. Staff are specifically trained in this concept of ability/activity
based programming with the outcome of providing an environment of minimizing
the negative effects of the Alzheimer’s disease process. Our Garden Court
features a program designed to enhance personal interaction between your loved
one, facility staff, peers and family members. Emphasis for care is placed on
ensuring that each staff member is highly trained in the delivery of care for
an individual with dementia. Our consistent staff ensures that your loved one
is able to thrive with staff familiar to their care and individual needs.
Programming is specially designed to promote independence and maintain both
cognitive and physical abilities for as long as possible. Our activity/ability
based program allows the resident to participate in activities throughout the
day and evening that are based on their interests and level of functioning,
ensuring that our program is not only beneficial for the social needs of your
loved one but also fun!
